Randal D. Shimon

Randy Shimon was born in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was raised on the Shimon Century Farm near Rolfe, in Pocahontas County, Iowa.

Randy received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Arizona State University in December 1991, and his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law in December 1995. In 1996, Randy obtained licenses to practice law in two states: Arizona and Nevada. He earned his diploma in Trial Advocacy Skills from the National Institute for Trial Advocacy in 1998. Randy practices primarily in the areas of business law, commercial litigation, contracts, franchise law, real estate, professional liability & discipline, general civil litigation, construction and surety law, administrative proceedings, and commercial landlord/tenant law. He has acted as outside general counsel to small and medium sized businesses since 1999. Randy also has experience in products liability, toxic mold, general liability defense and insurance coverage disputes. Randy's professional affiliations include the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Nevada, the State Bar of Arizona, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association and the Clark County Bar Association. Randy is also a member of the Las Vegas Chapter of the Associated General Contractors.

In his spare time, Randy enjoys being outdoors and close to nature. You may find him practicing a tree pose in the woods, avoiding trees on the golf course, or working with wood in his garage. You will find him walking his dogs Marley and Hendrix virtually every morning in a local park. Randy also enjoys pheasant hunting, camping, and witnessing athletes compete on the gridirons, courts, arenas and ball diamonds of America.
